The Singers Madrigale began in 1974 as an all-female ensemble drawn from the Annapolis, Maryland area to perform music to commemorate the United States' bi-centennial. Over the years the group has grown in membership and repertoire. The Singers Madrigale is now a 19-member mixed ensemble and performs throughout the Washington D.C./Maryland area.
